Spring ’26 #1

Another Spring, and time to see how the moths, and other things that come to the light from the native garden are doing. The night was cool after a reasonably warm day, and quite a nice variety of moths came in. First on the sheet was a Cleora, MOV species 2.

Closely followed by Destolmia lineata, male and larger female.

Male.

Female.

An Emerald, Chlorocoma dichloraria.

A female Hypobapta diffundens.

The common Crypsiphona ocultaria.

And a nicely marked Ardices (formerly Spilosoma) curvata.

More to come.
