A Lasiocampid, Pinara divisa complex, and some eggs discovered a few days later.

Two Cup Moths, first a Pale Cup Moth, Doratifera pinguis, (Limacodidae)

And an Orange Cup Moth, Pseudanapaea transvestita.

Finally for this collection, a common Noctuid, Rhapsa suscitatalis, male,

Female.

Some images will enlarge.

Cebysa leucotelus.

A chance sighting of this little bag moth larva eating specks of green lichen on a brick wall. Just ten millimetres long it worked its way around the wall all day feeding.

The adult moths are very beautiful, this male was photographed on a window.

The female’s wings are abbreviated, she cannot fly and has to walk everywhere, this one was photographed wandering on the forest floor.
