As usual Crypsiphona ocultaria were early arrivals.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/cryp.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/crypb.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"421\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hypobapta diffundens is more usual so it was good to get Hypobapta tachyhalotaria.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/hypo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/hypob.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"422\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Two Thalaina species, Thalaina clara,<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/clara.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"914\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And Thalaina selenaea.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/selenaea.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"911\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another Geometrid, the Lucerne Looper, Zermizinga sinuata, male, females are wingless.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/geo1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/geo1b.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"432\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A Lasiocampid, Paraguda nasuta.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/nasuta1.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"938\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/nasuta2.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"917\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A Cossid, last recorded here in 2013, Zyganisus propedia.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/coss.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"848\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Autumn Gum Moth, Mnesampela privata,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/aut.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/autb.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"601\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some Noctuids, Rhapsa suscitatalis,<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/rhapsa.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"857\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And Diatenes gerula, preferring to stay on the ground.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/diatenes.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/moths27\/diatenesb.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"396\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A calm cool night saw the light shining again to check out more autumn flying moths from the garden, some images will enlarge.
