It was not exciting with only a moderate number of moths of familiar species in to the light, the most numerous being Proteuxoa sanguinipuncta and Utetheisa pulchelloides. In fact Noctuids predominated with only a few other types on the sheet.<\/p>\n<p>Pantydia sparsa.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/autumn23\/noct1.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Helicoverpa armigera.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/autumn23\/noct3.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"714\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Agrotis porphyricollis, a pale form.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/autumn23\/noct4.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"580\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Proteuxoa restituta.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/autumn23\/noct5.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"413\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A lone Hepialid, Elhamma australasiae.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/autumn23\/elhamma.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"413\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A nice Emerald, (Prasinocyma) semicrocea.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/autumn23\/emerald.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"343\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Epidesmia tryxaria.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/autumn23\/epi.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"549\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And a Pyralid, Orthaga thyrisalis.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/natureofgippsland.org\/mothing\/autumn23\/pyr.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"732\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With daylight saving over mothing is back on the menu, with a session in the garden.
